Track the kilometres your crews drive for work, and keep your vehicles’ odometers current. Both Mileage and Vehicles are owner/admin only in the sidebar. Distances are in kilometres.

Vehicles

Add your fleet under Vehicles. Each vehicle has a name, make and model, year, plate, current odometer, and an active or inactive badge. You can edit a vehicle, set its odometer, add notes, toggle it active, or delete it. Vehicles get linked to jobs (one primary vehicle per job) and drive the odometer flow when a crew taps On my way.
A vehicle’s odometer only ever moves forward. A backdated reading lower than the current value is rejected, so the number stays trustworthy.

Mileage log

Under Mileage you get a table of trips (date, vehicle, driver, linked job, distance, and purpose), tiles for total logs, total distance, average per trip, and jobs covered, plus filters by period, vehicle, and driver, and a CSV export for your tax records. Trips are created two ways:
  • Automatically, when a crew member taps On my way on a job and logs a starting odometer. The trip closes when they start the job.
  • Manually, by adding an entry here with the vehicle, driver, date, purpose, start and end odometer, and notes.
A trip with no end odometer yet shows as In progress. The end reading must be higher than the start, and saving it updates the vehicle’s current odometer.

Frequently asked

How do trips get created without anyone typing them in? The “On my way” button on a job starts a trip from the odometer, and starting the job closes it. Manual entry is there for everything else. Can a technician see all mileage? The mileage and vehicle pages are owner/admin. A crew member’s own trips are logged through the job flow, and they can only remove their own. Can I export mileage for taxes? Yes. The mileage list has a CSV export with a period filter.
