Suds AI is your assistant. Once a day it reviews your customers and surfaces the ones worth reaching out to, with a drafted message ready for your approval. Turning Suds AI on is also what enables every other AI feature in ShineCRM.

Turn it on (and tune it)

Suds AI is off by default. Under Settings then Suds AI, an owner turns it on and accepts a short responsibility attestation. That single switch is what every AI feature checks, so until it’s on, the AI buttons elsewhere just prompt you to enable it. On the same page, add custom instructions as short bullet points (for example, “we don’t book on Sundays” or “when someone asks about price, suggest an estimate”). These ride along in every AI draft, so the suggestions sound like your business. They autosave.

The daily review

Open Suds AI in the sidebar (owner/admin) to see today’s suggestions, grouped by priority:
  • High priority
  • Worth a look
  • Background
Each card shows what kind of opportunity it is (a next action, a customer going dormant, one at risk, or a fresh opportunity), a priority score, the reasoning, and usually a drafted text or email. From a card you can:
  • Send draft: sends the drafted message, usually within a minute. Pressing Send is your approval; there is no second review step. The send shows up in the contact’s conversation and under scheduled messages.
  • Dismiss the suggestion
  • Open the contact to dig in

What else Suds AI powers

Once it’s on, Suds AI also drives: See the AI overview for what data the AI sees and which providers process it.

Frequently asked

Does Suds AI send anything by itself? No. It drafts and suggests. A drafted message only goes out when you press Send on it, with the one exception of review requests under an auto-send rule, which you configure yourself. Who can turn it on? Only an owner, because of the attestation. After that, the daily review is visible to owners and admins.
