# Exterior cleaning workflows

> Set up services, estimates, recurring visits, and crew schedules for eight exterior cleaning trades.

ShineCRM uses the same service catalog, estimates, jobs, and customer records across exterior cleaning trades. The examples below are ways to configure those tools. They do not add a separate trade-specific module or set prices for your business.

Start with [Services](https://docs.shinecx.com/guides/services.md). Choose **Per unit**, **Flat**, **Tiered** (named packages), or **Custom** pricing. Then use [Estimates](https://docs.shinecx.com/guides/estimates.md) to present the work and [Jobs and scheduling](https://docs.shinecx.com/guides/jobs-scheduling.md) to deliver it. Your customer can review the estimate through your [customer portal](https://docs.shinecx.com/guides/customer-portal.md).

## Window cleaning

Create separate services for exterior windows, interior windows, screens, and tracks when you price those separately. Per-unit pricing suits a window count; named packages suit a fixed scope. Record access instructions on the job so the crew has them on the day.

For returning customers, use [Recurring services](https://docs.shinecx.com/guides/recurring-services.md) to track the agreed cadence and next-due date. Completing the linked job advances that service's visit history.

## Pressure washing

Use a per-unit service with your chosen area unit for measured work, or a custom line when the site needs an individual quote. Separate driveways, patios, and other surfaces when the scope or price differs. Keep the agreed scope on the estimate and the work instructions on the job.

Schedule the accepted work in [Calendar](https://docs.shinecx.com/guides/calendar.md) and assign the people and vehicles needed for it.

## Soft washing

Make soft washing a distinct catalog service so customers can see which work they are approving. Use a flat, per-unit, or custom price to match how you quote. Include the surfaces included and any exclusions in the service description or estimate notes.

Keep site access and preparation details with the job. Use [Conversations](https://docs.shinecx.com/guides/unified-inbox.md) to keep the customer's questions with their history.

## Gutter cleaning

Create a gutter-cleaning service and use a per-unit label if you quote by length, or a flat or custom price for a property. Put separately priced work, such as downspouts, on its own line rather than hiding it in the description.

For seasonal repeat work, track the next visit with a recurring service. It tracks the commitment; each completed visit is billed through your normal invoice flow.

## Roof cleaning

Describe the agreed roof-cleaning scope clearly on the estimate. Use custom pricing when access and property details mean a fixed catalog price would not fit. Add job notes for the crew and assign the required people before scheduling the work.

ShineCRM records the quote and work. It does not assess roof condition or decide whether a method is appropriate for a property.

## House washing

Offer house washing as its own service, with separate lines for additional work you price independently. Use the [estimate builder](https://docs.shinecx.com/guides/estimates.md) to make optional items clear to the customer before approval.

Once accepted, book the job, confirm the details with the customer, and keep the conversation on their contact record.

## Holiday lighting

Separate installation, removal, and any other separately priced work in your service catalog. Schedule installation and removal as the jobs you actually need to deliver, with their own crew assignments and notes.

Use recurring services to track repeat seasonal commitments. This does not automatically charge a subscription for lighting or manage an inventory of lights.

## Solar panel cleaning

Use per-unit pricing with a panel unit label when you quote by panel count, or use a flat or custom price for the site. Keep access instructions and the agreed scope on the job.

For repeat customers, set the agreed cadence in recurring services and review next-due work before booking the next visit.

## Frequently asked

**Can one business offer more than one trade?**
Yes. Group your services into categories and include the relevant services on each estimate or job. You do not need a separate account for each service category.

**Does ShineCRM calculate the right price for my trade?**
You choose your services, prices, and quantities. ShineCRM calculates document totals from those inputs. It does not inspect a property or choose your rates.

**Where are current plans and signup?**
See [ShineCRM pricing](https://www.shinecx.com/#pricing) and [create an account](https://app.shinecx.com/signup).
